SBLC operates within 16 South Bay cities extending from Hawthorne on the north through Palos Verdes Peninsula on the south, and from the beach cities east to Long Beach. The Council has office space, a computer center, and two classrooms in Hillside Village at 24586 Hawthorne Blvd., Torrance, CA. Information meetings take place at the Torrance Civic Center Library. Tutor training workshops are held at the Hamilton Adult School or in the Hillside Village Computer Center. ESL tutoring is offered in four centers located in the South Bay as well as one-on-one. LES tutoring is primarily in small groups at the SBLC classrooms and at our Hawthorne Center. Computer Tutoring is provided at three centers located throughout the South Bay.
